1. De-clutter and Clean up
De-clutter and clean up the entire interior of your home, as well as the yard. This not only looks good, it adds a sense of space. It is also a good opportunity to dispose of or sell the things that you don’t use and just collect dust. Remove all papers, books and unnecessary clutter from benches and tables – have nothing but a few decorator items on them.
Go through cupboards and throw out what you haven’t used in a year or more, it will make it easier when you have to pack up.
